DAN SIMMONS is a Colorado writer of tremendous talent. His novels range from the horror of SONG OF KALI and CARRION COMFORT to the new genre of suspense-adventure he's mining so effectively with THE CROOK FACTORY.
In between, Dan's portfolio includes the Hyperion cycle of books, a true classic of modern science fiction. Along with the Hyperion saga, Simmons' novels PHASES OF GRAVITY and THE HOLLOW MAN continue to resonate emotionally and philosophically in my mind to this day. His work is not to be missed.
